Secure payment by credit card. If you choose to pay by credit card, the transmitted data (card number, and expiration holder) is protected by 128 bit SSL encryption which ensures the integrity and confidentiality.

What is SSL? SSL (Secure Socket Layer) is a open protocol that allows safe and secure connections between client-server. The system is able to ensure the authenticity, confidentiality and integrity of transmitted data through the use of encryption algorithms asymmetric (or public key) and symmetric. It 'perfectly capable of interfacing with common communication protocols on-line, including HTTP.

How does it work? When you make a connection with a "secure" server, SSL takes control of communication starting an handshake in which client and server agree on the parameters to be used to protect exchanged information: the website identifies itself by sending a certificate including its extremes and its public key: the customer, after verifying the authenticity of the document generates a "session key" and shall send it to the server encoded by the public key (asymmetric cryptography). From this moment both parties (client-server) will take the session key to protect transmitted data (symmetric encryption) for the duration of connection.
